Sunday 7 September 2025: Fruit Tree Bud Grafting Workshop
On Sunday 7 September 2025, as part of the Armagh Food and Cider Weekend, we held a bud grafting workshop in the magical farm at Kane’s Farm. Facilitated by Pádraig Donovan of the NI Conservation Volunteers, the workshop introduced participants to the art of bud grafting to propagate a particular variety of tree. As well as learning about the theory of bud grafting, our participants also got to try their hand it and taking away their own grafted apple, plum, peach and even lemon trees!
