Between August and September 2020 we ran two sets of online art classes, facilitated by artist Robert Peters, which introduced participants to the techniques of shading, watercolour, drawing perspective and caricature. Along the way we learned about Lurgan’s built heritage with the ‘Faces’ building (42-46 High Street), the ‘Woolbox’ building (52 High Street) and an historic image of Market Street (c.1885) forming the models for our drawings.

After viewing some of the results in the online gallery below, I think you will agree that the results were very impressive; a tribute to both the talent of our participants and Robert’s expert guidance.
