Geoweek 2024: Geology in the Classroom
As part of Geoweek (25 May to 2 June) artist Robert Peters facilitated a series of workshops with the primary 5 classes of St Francis’ PS Lurgan exploring the geometry underlying crystal formations in rocks.
In the first week pupils made some patterns that created the illusion of 3D forms, before then making 3D models of the crystal forms.
