On the 30^th October 2019 Lurgan Library organised a delightful afternoon of reminiscence, food, dancing and music.

As part of the event local history enthusiasts Laurence Menary and Michael Harte put together an Old Lurgan photographic exhibition and presentation, which provided a fascinating insight into how the town has changed over the years.  The exhibition generated plenty of discussion as people shared their memories of the town, while feasting on sandwiches, buns with tea and coffee.

Local legend Big Pat Christie then provided the song and music for a fitting tea dance finale which truly was a trip ‘Down Memory Lane’. The Lurgan THI was happy to support this fun and insightful event.
