5 September – 26 September 2025: An Introduction to Flash Fiction writing

Over four Friday mornings in September we held an Introduction to Flash Fiction writing course facilitated by writer Byddi Lee at Lurgan Library.

Flash fiction is a concise form of fiction, characterised by its brevity, typically ranging from a few words to 1,000 words. In this introductory course Byddi Lee provide creative writers of the Lurgan Writing Club with the necessary skills to create a compelling narrative in a handful words, focusing on a single idea or moment.

Thank you to Byddi for facilitating such a great course which produced some fantastic writing from all the partipants.
