Friday 24 April 2026: Independent Publishing: How to self-publish paperbacks and e-books

On Friday 24 April we joined with the Lurgan Writing Group and  Lurgan Library  to sponsor a workshop entitled ‘Independent Publishing: How to self-publish paperbacks and e-books’ which introduced participants to  self-publishing including how to maximise the opportunities it provides as well as pitfalls to avoid.

Over the course of two hours, participants learned the practicalities of the process – from cover design to ISBNs – while considering the ancillary skills such as editing, marketing and promotion that you need to give your novel the very best chance of finding its audience.
